Property for sale in Finestrat

Finestrat is in the Marina Baixa, in Alicante province, about 40 minutes by car from the city of Alicante (41 km) and some 50 km from Alicante-Elche airport. It had 9,352 inhabitants on 1 January 2024 according to the INE, in a municipality of 42.25 km², with an old town of Moorish origin at the foot of the Puig Campana, the 1,410-metre mountain that gives the town its name and its outline. Its coast comes down to the Cala de Finestrat, next to Benidorm, and much of the land between the beach and the village has been built up.

Housing combines apartments near the coast with villas and houses clinging to hillsides with sea views, many in urbanisations such as Sierra Cortina. Finestrat has a sizeable share of foreign residents alongside local people, covering both permanent and second homes. The town has medical centres, schools and everyday shops, as well as Terra Mítica, which takes up part of its territory, and the nine-hole Puig Campana Golf course, all a few minutes from Benidorm.
