01The data controller

The Management of ADEL REAL ESTATE, S.L. (Adel Properties) assumes the utmost responsibility for and commitment to the establishment, implementation and maintenance of this Data Protection Policy, with the aim of complying with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish personal data protection legislation.

02Accountability

Our Data Protection Policy rests on the principle of accountability: the data controller — Adel Properties — is responsible for compliance with the regulatory framework that governs it, and is able to demonstrate this to the competent supervisory authorities should it be necessary.

03The ten principles we follow

All Adel Properties staff are guided by these ten principles when processing personal data:

• Data protection by design. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures from the moment we decide how a piece of data is going to be processed, not afterwards.
• Data protection by default. By default, we only process the personal data that are necessary for each specific purpose.
• Protection throughout the whole life cycle. The protection measures are applied for as long as the data exist, not only when they are collected.
• Lawfulness, fairness and transparency. We process personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently towards the person they belong to.
• Purpose limitation. We collect data for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes, and we do not then use them for anything incompatible with those purposes.
• Data minimisation. We only ask for data that are adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for what we are going to use them for.
• Accuracy. We take care to keep data up to date, and we correct or erase without delay any that are inaccurate.
• Storage limitation. We do not keep identifiable data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which they were collected.
• Integrity and confidentiality. We apply technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised use, loss or accidental damage.
• Information and training. We train and inform all staff with access to personal data about their obligations in this area.

04Who this policy binds

This Data Protection Policy involves all the staff of Adel Properties, who must know it and take it as their own. Each member of the team is responsible for applying it in their day-to-day work, for checking that the data protection rules are complied with in their own particular activity, and for proposing improvements if they spot something that could be done better.

It is a policy addressed both to those who use this website and to those who do not: it is published here so that anyone can consult it, whether they use it or not.

05Review of this policy

The Management of Adel Properties reviews this Data Protection Policy as often as is necessary, in order to keep it up to date with the legislation in force at any given time.
