Cabo Roig sits on the headland that gives the neighbourhood its name, between Cala Capitán to the north and Campoamor beach to the south. Cabo Roig beach has 337 metres of sand, Blue Flag since 1992, and a seafront promenade. The 16th-century watchtower stands on the headland, a listed heritage site (Bien de Interés Cultural), with the Club Náutico Cabo Roig marina beside it, with more than 200 moorings.
Housing is concentrated in developments of villas and apartments spread around the headland and the nearby coves. For daily needs there are local shops such as Supermercado Saura, plus bars and restaurants by the marina and the beach, with commercial life concentrated in the streets closest to the sea.
