The seafront at Mil Palmeras takes in Mil Palmeras beach and, further south, Río Seco beach, both sandy and Blue Flag since 1999. They have a seafront promenade, parking right by the shore, and adapted access for people with reduced mobility, which makes them among the busiest in the municipality.
Housing is split between the first line and the residential streets inside the urbanisation. For daily needs there are local shops such as Supermercado Saura and a health point, the C.A. Mil Palmeras, open on reduced hours three days a week. Mil Palmeras is also the starting point of the free urban bus line connecting the municipality's hubs.
