This area takes in the southern end of Torrevieja, between the port bay and the San Roque district, with Parque Doña Sinforosa in between. It holds two beaches separated by the salt loading pier: Los Náufragos, 300 metres long and Blue Flag, wide and with palm trees on the sand itself; and El Acequión, narrower and sheltered inside the port, beside the marina. The pink salt lakes are a kilometre away.

Housing is mostly resale: apartments on the front and second line, and low bungalows and townhouses in classic Spanish style, many with a communal pool. It is an area with life all year round, with supermarkets, several parks, a promenade along the port breakwater and restaurants facing the sea.
