El Pinet, the northern tip of La Marina: 1950s villas between the pine woods, the salt flats and a mile of sand.
Nothing listed in this neighbourhood at the moment.
El Pinet sits at the northern end of the La Marina district, where the Elche coast draws close to Santa Pola and the Salinas nature reserve. It has 1,750 metres of fine sand with the dune belt and the pine woods behind it, and wooden walkways lead down to the shore from the car park.
What sets El Pinet apart are its 1950s villas, many with the arches forming arcades that already appear in a photograph held by the Elche municipal archive dated 1950. They sit alongside guest accommodation and seafront restaurants, in a second-home and summer area that goes quiet out of season.
