Property for sale in Playa de Poniente

Playa de Poniente runs along the western side of the Benidorm coast, between the Tossal and the marina, which separates it from Levante and the old town. It is 3,100 metres of sand — the longest beach in the municipality — averaging 74 metres wide and reaching 105 at its widest, with an unbroken Blue Flag since 1987 and a promenade of restaurants, bars and shops.

The housing is high-rise, as it is throughout Benidorm, but the seafront here is more open than in Levante: the two best-known towers stand back from the sand rather than on it — the Intempo, at 202 metres the tallest residential building in Spain, is some 500 metres from the sea, and the Gran Hotel Bali about 350 metres on foot. The atmosphere is quieter and draws more Spanish visitors, and much of daily life is within walking distance along the promenade.
